Awesome awesome! :D (i like the twist on Power girl's costume to have a rly buff guy be topless... it's often hard to get the "gender reverse" stuff for stuff like a boob window b/c of the way our society constructs gendered bodies :\ )

Wow, this is amazing! I love gender-bent superheroes. This looks like a fantastic What If world, and those costumes must have taken a lot of work. Superma'am's neckline is really elegant.

I already have a female Riddler costume ready to go. Now I just need the weather to cool down so I can go somewhere with it.

Power Guy is probably wearing less because, if I am not mistaken, Power Girl wears a bikini top, and this isn't really meant as a strict crossplay...

Power Guy's costume has to be skimpier in order to look "equally" skimpy to our eyes because of the way our culture handles the sexualization of male vs. female bodies.

Ah, yes. A keyhole costume would've looked silly anyway.

I mean, the only way Power Guy's costume could have been different but in the same vein as Power Girl's was maybe full pants with a 'key hole' crotch?

Also interesting point how Batman to Batma'am is completely different from the Batman to Batgirl ideal of 'let's so skimpier and have a diminutive!' where that isn't really the idea with these costumes, especially not the ones like Wonder Woman to Wonder Man... Although Hunter is right there! Ha!

I really love the stomach window on Hunter. Just because it looks so damn goofy, and it really points out how ridiculous it is on a female superhero.

I admire the women for having the brilliance to come up with such awesome costumes, and I admire the men for having the guts to wear such skimpy costumes.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Blockade Boy! He does a bunch of superhero costume redesigns, and he's reimagined several skimpy female costumes as their equivalent skimpy male costumes. Scarlet Witch and Phantom Lady are pretty great.
